Yell and Tell Heroes – Bullying

Simon is a smart little boy from Colorado who started Kindergarten this year. He is friendly and outgoing. Another boy in his class started bullying him. He would grab is finger and twist it. He told Simon if he didn’t do what he told him to, he would hurt him more. Simon didn’t know what to do for he wanted to be liked by everyone. The other boy would tell Simon to do naughty things and then threaten to twist his finger if he told anyone. Simon remembered Yell and Tell and told his mother what was happening. She went to the teacher after school one day and told the teacher so she could watch to see what was going on. The teacher took action and stopped the other boy from being a bully. Simon is a Yell and Tell hero for taking action even though he was afraid of being hurt by the other boy.
